Problem removing a socket from shell

Hi, I am trying to remove this push switch light socket from its metal shell but I can't see how. Any ideas?

It's an old art deco headboard lamp. There is nothing to unscrew...

I would start by removing the nut.

Yeah I did it right after taking the pictures. The nut (and the screw) is the attach the shell to the rest of the lamp but that's it, it is not screwed in the socket

Show a picture of inside the socket. There may be screws inside. The switch button may be a friction fit and may have to be pulled off also before the socket gets free.
