Any recommendations on mounting small speakers on the wall?

I have a couple small speakers that are OLD - from 2005? But they work and I'm not looking to spend too much (or anything) to mount them on the wall.

They have a single threaded hole on the back of each one. I have screws that will go in there.

Any (inexpensive) recommendations on a way to mount them on the wall other than a little shelf for each? Only thing I can think of is either something like a round thumbscrew that fits in a slot in a clip mounted on the wall (think a mic and mic clip on a CB radio good buddy!)

Or a U bracket like in picture? And I don't see that in home depot.

Anything else?

Those are surround sound type speakers. Have installed many of them.
That brass mounting stud will be metric. (probably 5mm or 6mm)
There are lots of brackets designed just for that use.

Surround sound speaker mounts
Low profile mounts
