Can you tell watt bulbs this fixture can take?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if based on the information on the fixture, can you tell the max watt bulbs it can take? A picture is attached. Right now I have 40 watt fluorescent bulbs in it but wanted to switch to LED and wanted to know the max wattage. The lights in the garage. Thanks in advance!

That fixture uses 2x F40-T12 tubes.
They're just about extinct.

You can use any 4' LED replacement tubes there.
I'd recommend buying the tubes that don't require a ballast.
You'd open the fixture, remove the single ballast and rewire the sockets.

The new tubes will be 4' 32w T8 tubes. Smaller in diameter but fit in the same socket as the T-12's.
If you don't want the hassle of rewiring the fixture..... get the ballast required tubes.
Also called insta-fit or type A........ LED insta fit tubes
