Repair

I bought a little skiff (flat bottom) but it has some damage on the bottom. It doesn't sink though, it has been afloat for a week so I'm guessing the damage is only to the outer shell. What's the best way to fix it. Fiberglass or Epoxy? It's a cool little boat and I want to put a small outboard on it but would like to repair it first. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

What's the boat made of, and what is the extent of the damage?

There's a lot of variables that go into hull repair. The more information the better.

It's fiberglass and the damage appears minor. It has long ridges (3) along the length of the bottom. It's the ridges that are damaged, crushed and flaking off at two points, small areas less that 3 inches each. Looks like where the boat meets the trailer.
