Outboard Gas Line Connection Leak
I have a 30 hp Johnson outboard. It was leaking at the gas line connection, so thinking that it was shot o-rings, I just replaced the connection on the end of the line.
However, it's still leaking. I can cause it to leak by either sqeezing the bulb or wiggling the line when it is connected to the motor, but the connector on the line won't leak if disconnected.
Is there anything I can repair or adjust, or do I replace the fuel connection on the motor?
Thanks. Mike

did you get an OMC connector? the Yamaha one looks
close but will leak. If all is OMC then yes replace the worn
engine end fitting, odd but it can happen that it does not
make a good seal.
Ck first that the new one has a good oring
seal. they are easily torn, by perhaps a burr on the connector?
