I have a 20' fiberglass dory with a small cabin ( more like a locker ). I would like to add a pilot house. Does anyone know where I can get some info. on building one?

Hello: thurps. Welcome to our Boats, Pwc's & Navaigations topic and our Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
Have you tried online searching and the boating magzines? May have pics and plans in them or one of the woodworking trade magazines to the right.....>>>>>>>
Boat salvage yards may have one to fit also. Weight and location are concerns as well securing it to the boat. Not difficult just aspects to keep in mind while building one and installing it.

Pilot house for dory
If you have a boat, then you must live near water and boat dealers. Pick the brains of local boat dealers. Do some research on boat building. Kits may be available. As indicated, you may find a pilot house in a boat salvage yard that could meet your purposes and specifications. If you know the manufacturer of your dory, contact them for modification information. Contact info may be found online as well as other helpful information by searching with your favorite search engine.
