Angry 85 HP Force - No Start

I have a 1984, 85 HP Force outboard. It was running fine. I shut it down for a while, went to restart it and nothing. I have tested the ignition components according to proceedures in my Seloc Manual and everything checked OK except for a poor reading on my 2nd CD module, so I replaced it. Now I have spark to my No. 3 cylinder again but all show weak spark and it still won't fire. Any ideas?

Lightbulb Some Tips and Help

Possible the ignition switch is defective.

Check for currents in and out of the terminals. Also check all wire terminals for corrosion, bad connections. Same to fuses, switches, fuse blocks, terminal blocks, etc.

If you tested per instructions, what testing instruments where used? Ingnition tester, voltmeter, ohmeter...???

Tested what componets?

Check for current at the modules while ignition switch is in the on position and during cranking.

Spark plug wires may be old. Old wires create too much electrical resistance. Measure resistence with ohm meter. Compare readings to new wires.
