98 Sea-Doo won't turn over after dewinterizing
We have a 1998 XP Limited Edition Sea-Doo that will not turn over for some reason. I checked and re-checked the three fuses in the computer module on the left inside of the engine compartment, as well as the two fuses in the ignition box. When the key is put on the ignition switch, we get the normal two beeps like always, but when the start button is pressed, absolutely nothing happens. We have also tried two different batteries, both of which have ran an older Sea-Doo just fine. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Where can I find the starter solenoid on this model of Sea-Doo. The only wires I can see coming from the starter go straight into the computer module on the left side of it, which from what I read is also protected by a 5 amp fuse within the module.

Hello: meyoung524
Have you attempted to jump past the starter button?
May simply be a defective starter button.
Can also try a continuity test across the starter button.
Point is to begin the diagnostic testing at the most likely places and often overlooked locations first. Which is both the ignition switch and the starter button, since you have already check the fuses and know the battery is okay.
Remove spark plugs and hand crank the engine, if possible. Engine may be frozen. Check for kill switches. If there are any other than the wrist pin, be sure they are operating correctly by doing a continuity test on them also.

My 97 Sea Doo GSX Keeps blowing the 5A Fuse
Every time i put the lnyard on, it blows the fuse. I don't see anything that looks burned out. This is the first time i've tried to use it this year and it did turn over a few times before this happened. Any Ideas? Someone said it could be the computer. Is there anyway to bypass the key check thing? I don't care about that feature, I just want it to run
