Lightning Protection for a Power Boat with No Mast

Please explain in detail the specific steps to take to install a lightning protection system on a power boat to protect the electronics and people aboard. The boat is 26 feet and has no mast.

Also, if you know a good reference manual on marine electronics, please provide the title and any other specifics.

The only step to take when you see/hear lightning on a body of water is to get the H*** off the water.
That's been my protection and the only protection I've knwn in my 35 years of boating.

Might go to www.defenderus.com They have about all you will need for lightning. From for the antenna to the grounding plates. Im like fewalt make a run for it . But I still have it set up for lightnimg on my boat. This also helps for electrolysis. With this set up.
