Jet boat stalls in hard turns

I just bought a 90 hp Sea Ray jet, ran great until I started turning hard to the left or hard to the right, when I did this it started to bog down really bad and stall. I noticed that the bilge pump was mounted high, there was about 6 inches of water left after the bilge had pumped, I noticed the sides of the motor compartment were wet about 1/4 way up the motor. Apparently from the hard turns.
Also, when I pumped up the primer bulb.. gas was leaking from behind the fuel pump. I know both of these problems need to be rectified... but any thoughts would be appreciated...

Thanks

Id say the bilge pump is not right for sure. lower it and the float switch for it. Fix the leak behind the fuel pump could suck air??? check for any water in the carburetor bowl.
