2 Tubes vs. 3 Tubes on Pontoons

I am looking at buying a pontoon and the dealers all have there point of view. If anyone has first hand experience what is better? I will be on inland lakes in Michigan and using it for fishing, tubbing, and just fun. Will a 115 hp engine be large enough also?
Thanks

Wink

Id go with the 2 you dont have as much drag in the water as you do with 3. Id get a small runabout to ski and for tubbing. More fun

I think the 2 or 3 tube decision comes down to how much "stuff" you want to carry on the boat. The extra tube gives you more bouyancy but costs more and increases drag so your boat will go slower. Most party boats for a day on the lake are better off with 2 tubes. I would only go for 3 tubes unless you want to carry a maximum number of people or load the boat up with supplies.
