I have inherited a very old, possibly antique, Johnson outboard boat motor and don't know what to do with it. Any ideas?

I would post this question in the boat forum.
The expert there is quite knowledgeable.

Hi there, the Johnson Outbord company
or Outboard Marine Corp. may be interested in your motor. There are also exhibits in marine museums that would appriciate your donation. Or if you get me the model no off the clamp bracket i can give you some history on the engine for you own piece of americana.
It will probably be two letters and two numbers. Like " FD21"
I am eager to see what you have.
