In fixing up a 10 old storm damaged utility/fish boat, I plan to eliminate 4 below the water line, thru hull, plastic, cracked and leaky openings that were used for live bait wells which we don't use on Guam. What's the best way to do this?

I would replace the thru hulls with bronze
and ball valves so that you can utilize them for another purpose later.
Be sure to bond them so they dont corrode and seal them on installation with a bedding compound.
Well placed thru hulls are sometimes hard to come by I would save them rather than fill them. scott
