Merc 4cyl 165, removing the flywheel.. how?

I have the seloc book and of course it's not in there! I googled and asked around. My buddy want me to hit it with the deadblow hammer! I don't want to screw anything up. Anybody know the proper way to remove this? prying, hammering, HELP!
thanks

No advice on removing the flywheel?

I guess I will hit it with a hammer tonight... I'll buffer the blow with a 2x4. Wish me luck

There is an actual flywheel removal tool for this operation. If the flywheel is really stuck on there, I'd recommend renting one. Flywheels are a fragile thing, a deadblow runs the risk of stress cracks, and the prybar/screwdriver method runs the risk of breaking or warping.
