Bad case of the barnacles
If you leave your boat in the water in Florida for three weeks it will be really covered with barnacles. I used my power washer to knock off the big chunks. Who has the magic solution for getting off the remaining residue?
By the way, I tried using a putty knife to knock off the barnacles. It is amazing how tuff and sharp barnacles are.

You can spray generously with WD-40 and let let. Scrape. Repeat for remnants. Sometimes sanding is required for residue. Anti-fouling paint is helpful as is removing the boat from water every few days

Like said a good bottom paint will do it for you. We pull just one time a year to clean and check everything. Put on a new bottom paint then also. If in port for say 4 week or more. Go down and put a plastic bag over the prop. If you dont you have to go down and clean the prop before you pull out. Barnacles can be that bad. A good 2500psi washer helps a lot . But it can take your Gelcoat of if the boat has started to get osmosis
