transducer spray

we have a 20' aluminum boat with the transducer mounted on the stern just below the water line. when running, the transducer sprays water into the cockpit.

any ideas on how to remedy this problem?

experiment with raising/lowering the unit until it works properly... the mounting bracket should be adjustable...

If you have the adjustment capibilites in the mounting bracket, try tilting the transducer so the leading edge (the part closest to the transom) is slightly higher than the trailing edge. Sometimes this helps.
