Sounds Like Power Steering Belt

hey guys,
i'm a new boat owner and i have a 1994 18' CC with a 3.0l OMC. there's an awfull squeal coming from the engine...applying my automobile knowledge..i assumed it was the alt belt...so i changed it. it still made the noise....now the noise is present during start up for about 1-2 minutes then goes away but reappears when i crank the wheel full left/rt and/or when i use the trim/tilt. i looked deeper and changed the lower belt...still the noise. i'm at a dead end...i'm thinking water pump bearings but from what i've read...they're pretty solid.

any suggestions?

I don't know about an OMC, but if my Mercruiser was making that noise I would be thinking drive shaft u-joints and/or gimbal bearing.
