boat radio

I will be adding a radio to my 34 ft aft cabin boat. I have installed radios in cars before, so I know how they should be set up. My problem is, I want to install a radio with at least 4 to 6 speakers. I need a CD player. I want a radio that will be able to have enough power for the speakers and maybe alittle extra because, with the gas prices I may be sitting at the dock alot. The radio will be installed in the cabin, so it will be dry. I would like a remote control at the flybridge.
Any make you would suggest ?
Watts, what amount ?
Being dry will I need to buy a marine grade radio ?
Any info you can give me would be helpful
John

Check out the selection at Overtons.com and also at West Marine.com. Both have radio systems designed for boats and the wet environment by major manufacturers as well as "not so major ones". I'll be willing to be you'll find the system that suits your needs perfectly.
