Honda outboard 25 hp rotary steering question

I just installed a teleflex rotary steering and I need the measurement for the steering link arm. I bought the new system for $119 and don't want to pay $60 for the link arm. It shouldn't take much to make one.

It would be wise to buy the honda arm. I think there would be some bends in the arm not just straight and a 90. My reasoning is 60 bucks now beats a broken arm, wild ride when the arm breaks and 60 bucks after it breaks. I'm not saying it can't be done but I would buy the honda arm.

Good I would just hate to have one break, that and between time and cost of materials it's not worth making them.
