leak in engine area

Hi everyone.

Just purchased a 2001 Tahoe Q3 with a 3.0 mercruiser. I have a leak on the lower side of the engine and was wondering if it could possibly be the re-circulator pump and or it's connections. Without taking the fuel line hoses off, it's hard to tell where the water is coming from.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

leak

should have mentioned that the only hoses I can see in the area of where the leak is at are the ones going to and from the pump for the livewell that is mounted under the engine.

I would look at the livewell system first, but if you can run the engine and look for leaks. The circ. pump can leak but not too often. Check all the hose clamps. Is the leak on the stbd. or port side?

Can you get a handheld mirror down there to see under the engine? You can reflect a flashlight off it to illuminate the area.
