i have a 1988 bowrider that was white with red stripes at one time. due to weathering
the red stripes are now pink. i buffed them
out last year and some of the red came back, but not all. any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. cheaper the better

A lot of times the manufaturer wont pour a lot of color onto striping in the gel coat mold. Red especially is hard to maintain
because it does fade. Ive seen the Meguiars
product work very well in restoring color.
but i would probably get used to the fade.
On the more expensive side you can have the areas repainted with a good marine linear poyurethane that will last for a very long time.
