I have a 1979 hydrasport with a cracked transom that neds replacing. the boat is in good shape and I would like to fix this myself. PROBLEM: I have very little idea on how to do it. So I am looking for any info on how to go about this. Detailed info better but any is better than none.

We can certainly get you started in the right direction if you can provide a little more information.
What is the power of the boat, I/O or
Outboard. Is it cracked through the gel- coat or is the wood in the transom bad/rotted/cracking. Are there surface cracks in the deck?
lets start there and see where we go
