Parts will cost around $100 - $120. Labor varies widely in these parts, but figure probably around $150 - $200. Those are not difficult jobs, though. Save the labor cost and DIY. (Apply some of the savings to an OEM service/repair manual.)

We charge 1.5 hours for a water pump and about the same for the tune up. A tune up would include compression and leakdown tests new spark plugs and check and adjust timing. We charge $119 a hour. Just to give a example.

A factory manual is well worth the extra price over aftermarket and might cost $50-75. One repair you can do at home will offset the cost and you will have the pride of doing it yourself.
