leaky windshield

Hi- I have a Starcraft 22' Islander with a leaky windshield. The windshield frame is made of aluminum channel sections and the glass fits into a rubber "gasket" that fits into the frame channel. The rubber is in sections and has shrunken in length over the years until there are gaps at the corners of the glass and water leaks in. I've tried to seal up the gaps with matching black silicone, but guess what- it still leaks. Is there anything I can do short of taking the whole windshield apart and replacing the rubber parts?
Thanks, Steve

I tried everything on my Four Winns to seal the windshield. Nothing worked. The rubber not only shrinks along the length of the gasket, it also shrinks along the width. The glass also became loose over time. The only fix was to replace the gasket.
