no fire

I have a 99 bass tracker with a 60hp Mercury engine. I went fishing the other day and tried to crank the engine. It was firing, but not turning over. Eventually, I assumed I had flooded it so I parked the vehicle and came back to the boat. I tried to crank the engine and nothing happened. There is power when the key is turned, but that is it. No fire at all. I have checked the wires all the way to the motor and they are getting juice. I am now lost. Please help

Welcome to the board.

So when you turn the key the starter will spin the motor but it will not run.

First thing to check is your emergence stop lanyard, flip the switch a couple times.

Then check to see if you have spark, if not disconnect the yellow with black tracer wire where it comes into the cowl. This will eliminate the stop circuit but the key will still shut it off.

If it still doesn't have spark you will need a DVM to do some more tests.
