Norcold DE-400A wont work on 120V

i have a norcold DE 400 A refrigerator on my boat; the 12 volt works, the 110 volt does not.
I plugged in the 110 and the unit made a noise, then stopped. When I unplugged it, the 12V power took over and it works fine. When I attempted to plug the 110 back in, I got a shock from the end of the plug. Is there 12V running through the unit and out the 110 plug?
All fuses and breakers are not blown / tripped.

How do I get the 110 V to work?

Welcome to the forum.

I wish I could help but I have never worked with the big boats, Rick might know.

I have a Norcold fridge, but the manual is on the boat.

A little poking around found this web site with a ... ahem ... boatload of Norcold manuals: Manuals
