Hosed or not

Hosed or not

I just had an engine (7.4L) installed in my 2000 Mariah 302 and they billed me for 25 hours.... that seems like alot to swap long blocks.
did I just het hosed or not?

It depends on how much they had to take apart to get the motor out. I think we get 18 hours on a simple glasstron where the back seat comes out and the sun deck can be removed.

WOW that seems like alot. I had a new engine put in my old stingray and they didnt even charge me half of that to install that engine and it was a short block so there was more parts to transfer..... oh well, I guess you have to pay to play..

I would ask them what they had to do to swing ONE engine? Itemized bill. Sounds High.
I changed two 350s in a 242 formula [ mine] in a day.
