How do you store your boat cover post holders

Not sure what they are called. They hold the middle of the boat canvas up after you snap it down.
I'm thinking of using a broom handle holder or something like it to hold them in place on the boat. I have about 33 inches of space ( the polls can be lowered to about 32 inches) and a wood backing.
Ideas?

They need to be stored on the boat? My first thought is a dock box.

Yes, thought of that myself , but I have room on the boat and it has seemed to have been easier to store on the boat.

Snap-on handle holders are a great idea. The reason I asked for make & model is because it was easy on my cuddy to toss 'em in the gunwales. Not so much with a deck boat with sealed sides.

Use a sharpie to draw a circle on the pole to mark how far it needs to be extended. That way you're not guessing every time you put on the cover.

Can't find the snap-on holder. But if it is a broom holder thing it may not work well mounted sideways.
Thinking about two 6" magnets mounted to the inside wall. Adding a small steel bracket to the aluminum poll and mount them that way. Steel rusts tho.
There is a small cubby/bathroom on the boat. We store the polls in there with the cover.
There is a light on the wall in there. The way the posts fit in there they keep hitting the light switch and so the battery goes dead after a couple of days. Found out the hard way.
