Fuel leaking from open boat plug.

Noticed today that fuel was leaking from the boat plug. The plug was open. My question is should I screw the boat plug in to stop the leaking or leave it open? Not sure if closing the plug would cause damage to the boat since gas is leaking.

The plug that you would pull out to drain water from in between the hulls ?

Plug in or out is a moot point right now.....your gas tank is leaking into the hull of the boat.

You'll need to look at your fuel tank ASAP. It may have a hole rusted thru it or a gas line came apart.
