Installing pedestal seats

I just purchased a 1987 Glasstream Regatta 192, it needed work like new seats an other vinyl pieces an a good cleaning. My question is how can I install to pedestal seats where the back to back seats would go, I want more room to make it a dual purpose boat fishing/pleasure. There is no way I can get under the floor boards to put a bracket to mount seat. Do I need to build a box style base to put a swivel on top then a seat or is there some other type of seat I can do to achieve a seat that spins? Thanks.

What does the floor look like where the bench seats were?

Ordinarily there would be reinforcement under the floor where the pedestal mounts would be attached.
It is not likely the floor would be strong enough but you could install pressure treated plywood on the floor to bolt the seat bases to.
You would want the plywood to be big enough to take the side to side movement of the seat.

This is just one example and there are lots of places to buy these.
