Why does the forum index say 1,856 threads in this subforum when it's empty?

Here it says the "Marine: Boating, Sailing, PWC, Nautical and Navigational GPS" sub forum has 856 threads and 6801 posts.

Yet the only other (non-pinned) thread is a topic I myself have made. Feels like the twilight zone...

Any thoughts?

Yeah, at the bottom of the page you can select the date range of all posts. Default seems to be one month. Change the date range to all to see every post or to a time frame in which you would like to look.

The forum default is to show the last week. You need to go down to "show threads from" and change it to a period later back like two weeks, or a month, or a year,

It's also true that this is probably the least active forum on the site.
