Start searching the Internet for any wiring information on the motor. I would not bother looking for a diagram for the boat. If you find something I'd only use it as a vague reference because at the boats age it's quite possible it's been modified several times. Luckily boats and motors of that age are pretty simple. You'll have basic start & run wiring to connect to the ignition switch. Big wires to provide starting current and and possibly wiring for choke. Tracing the wiring on the boat is often the quickest, easiest and most reliable which leaves you with finding the motor wiring info.
