Unfortunetly I broke a piece out of my windshield. I understand the material is 'lucite, which is an acrylic'.

Is there a way to glue the piece back on. A glue line would not hurt anything, and it is in a non structural area.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Tom, Ive never had to fix a lucite windsheild
but i suppose you could glue that chunk back in with
some quick bonding material. what about pvc cement?
might melt it right into place.
Does anybody else have an idea on this??

I probably should have added, that I called the manufactuer of the windshield and they told me that there was no way to repair it and I had to buy a new one. I thought they might be biased so, thought I would ask around.

My philosophy is that 'there is almost always away to fix something'.

If I don't find any proven solution, I will start experimenting.

Thanks for your response.
