I have (2) 1988 7O HP Johnson outboard boat motors. Both were hardly ever used. If they have 50 hours of use each, that's a lot. Does anyone know if a 13 year old motors are worth anything?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sure they're worth something, many much older models are in use all over. They may need work if they have been sitting idle for a while, usually the water pump and carburetors are the first things to give trouble when you start a motor that hasnt been used in a few years. I may be in the market for an engine similar to what you have. (in case you're thinking of selling).

Ceeg52, depending on your location, I also might be interested in buying if you are thinking of selling. Some of the older motors run better than the new ones. Nothing like a broken-in motor.
