We have a navico auto pilot 3 years old. It hasn't been used in 1 1/2 years. Seems the motor froze up. My husband has gotten it unfrozen, but a magnet has come out and needs to be reattached. If by chance he can figure out how to do that, and put the thing back together, it may work. But if not, any chance of replacing the motor? Navico, now Simrad, says they sell the motor/pump as one part for $559. That doesn't seem to be an option.

A good epoxy will hold the magnet but be sure it is
properly positioned so that it does not contact the armature.
$559 might be an option, especially if you are going offshore
