Help with putting outdrive back on.

Can anyone give advice on putting my alpha one outdrive back on? I just replaced the bellows and I'm having a difficult time putting the outdrive back on. I don't have an outdrive dolly, so it's manual.

Is it "hitting a brick wall" with about 3/4" of space between the two pieces? It's probably stopping on the shifter.

The boat's transmission control should be in forward gear. Make sure the shift slide is aligned to mate with the square slot in the drive.

Rotate the prop counterclockwise to align the shaft with the coupler as you push on the drive. You'll feel it lock in. A few good, hard pushes using your hands will seat it the rest of the way.
