- My girlfriend and I just bought our first house, and we're in the process of making it our home. The house was built in 1972 and added onto in the 1980's. Kitchen and bathrooms were recently updated, so the house only needed some updating, and no major repairs. We're currently in the process of modernizing, and I'm going to be venturing into some areas of woodworking and landscaping that I haven't in the past. Major projects include building some new farmhouse tables for the living room, a new dining room table, and laying down a paver patio and walkway. I'm a handy guy, but I'm definitely venturing into new territory here. Looking for advice every step of the way. Thanks in advance!
