The machine ran great. It was put into starage with the gas left in it about 2 years ago. Now it wont start. im asuming that the gas hardened in the carburater and is not getting through. Is that something anyone can clean out or do I need to take it to a shop? Please help!! Thanks!!!

It sounds like the old gas lacquered up the carb ( or carbs ). Yamaha has a cleaner which may work if it's not too gummed up. It's actually a high detergent - not a solvent. You would need to disconnect the fuel line, open and drain the carb at the bowl drain plug, then close the plug and fill the carb thru the fuel line. After 24 - 48 hours, it must be drained thru the bowl cleanout and if there is a lot of gunk, the process must be repeated.
Then drain the gas tank and put in new fuel, hook up the fuel line to the carb and give it a try.
I personally would not try to rebuild the carb. If the above process failed, I would get it to a shop for a professional rebuild and tune up. Some of the jets may be hidden behind plugs which must be drilled out and that's best left to the pros.
