trying to make a go kart

i go to tech school (jounoir in high school)

and im makin a go kart out of a old 125cc 2stroke motor

anytips that might me make it easyer would be awesome

What do you have so far other than the engine? How far along are you? I'm assuming the engine runs fine already. Or does it need some work?

Chain question (#35 vs #41)

I'm setting up a go-cart with a 8 HP 4 stroke engine. Having finally found centrifugal clutches for my engine's 1" shaft (seems everything is made with a 5/8" or 3/4" bore), I've got to choose between clutches conceived for #35 or #41 chain. I've got the size specs for both chain sizes but I don't know which to choose with regards to strength and "chain coming off" issues, etc. Any advice ?Read More
