Talking KZ440 trike conversion

I have a 1980 KZ440 with 500 origional miles on it (I bought it new back then) and want to turn it into a road worthy trike for kicking around town.
I'm Thinking of useing cvc axels and disc wheel setup from a old 85 civic but I need input on makeing a diferential that will transfer the power from a chain drive to the axels. It must be light but very dependable. I dont want to fix it all the time>>
Any imput on this would be great as well as other ideas.
I researched the web but only find places the custom larger bikes like the harley and gold wing but also no axels or parts sold by themselves.

Hmm... I've never done anything like that before but have you considered the rearend out of an ATV It's already chain driven and has an axle. The civic rear end is a dead axle. There is nothing in the middle to turn.
With the ATV rear end I'm pretty sure you can easily add disc brakes if the particular one you chose didn't have them already. And it would also have a clutch to act as a differential.

I think the atv is to light and will not give you the independent suspention you want with a sway bar system for turn stability. Most larg bike conversons use auto differentials from a pinto rear end but with a driveshaft setup on the bike. I need to make a differential and use cvc axle setup from a front wheel car ans keep it light.
