Honda Goldwing brakes

I have a 1982 Honda Goldwing GL1100, I noticed that the rear brakes were smoking the other eve and the brakes were not releasing. Does anyone know what I should do. Thanks

Too many things to guess at which one. Probably a corroded cable sheathing is not letting the cable move freely. Could also be a stuck piston in the master cylinder or even a bad spring. I would take it to a shop for diagnosis and then decide if you want to fix it or have them do it. Call any shops near you for hourly rates. Good luck.

Goldwing brakes

I have owned a 82 wing and sold it with 99,600 miles on it.
Now, what you have is boiling brake fluid and moisture in the rear brake cyclinder. bleed and remove all fluid replace with dot 3 type from a NEW can. And if this ever happens again on the road a quick fix to get you home or off the road is to open the bleeder valve (don't get burned) go slow and only use front brake, hope this helps
