Where to get parts?!?!?!?

I have a B&S 5HP engine and carb I would like to rebuild. However, the town I live in has no small engine repair places, so I am willing to order the parts and do it myself. The big stumbling block is that I am not sure of where to look to ensure I am getting what I really need to do the job right.
The numbers I have to work with are:

Model #: 136212
Type: 0026 01
Code: 960923YB

This engine is off of a go-cart and I would really like to get it going before all the kids have their drivers license!!!

Any leads would be helpful. What do each of these numbers mean?

Thanks, I did find the jacks small engine site to be quite helpful. Now I know what all the codes mean and was able to locate parts listing so I can order the parts needed.
Now all I have to do is tear the thing down and see what I "really" need to replace. Hopefully, it will be nothing more than a rering/bearing job, replacing the gaskets and overhauling the carb, than putting it back on the road.

Thanks again.

Might try 'ordertree.com' for some good illustrations and parts lists.
