help

i am building a gocart and cant find a way to make it 4x4 and still steer it so i was thinking of putting two axles in the back and make both of them spin. what do yall think of this. could it work??

Ask anyone who drives a tandem axle truck if they could go 4 wheelin with it.

Are you building a 4x4 or a 4x6? Are you trying to get all the wheels pulling or are you just trying to get four wheels working? Driving all the wheels would be best, but it is more difficult (universal joints and center differential). Simply adding another axel in back doesn't do too much good unless you want to carry extra weight.

Four wheel drive is good if you are bogging down in deep mud, but many of the fastest of road racers are running 2WD.

im trying to make it 4x4 but i dont know how i would steer.do yall know how i would steer? any ideas would help. THANKS
