No spark on '73 Polaris Colt

Pressure washed the sled 2 weeks ago, now it won't start. (Could be coincedence I suppose). I pulled both plugs and found no spark. A local sled shop said maybe the points were pitted or sticking - so I removed the starter recoil and filed the points. I verified that they opened/closed an checked the gap which is .014 Then I put the recoil back on and gave it a pull. Nice blue spark to both plugs. But, I pulled it again and got nothing. So I took it apart again, filed the points again, and got the same thing - spark for only the first pull, then nothing. Any recommendations/procedures for testing the points/condensers/coils? Any other ideas on this dilemna? BTW - the spark plugs are new and the key switch and on/off switch have been bypassed.

Thanks for any help,
Steve H.

New points and condenser sets did the trick. Thanks!
