Thanks v8driver, I got a deal on one and was wondering the thoughts and ideas of people on the board. I'm buying one out of Montana, and shipping it to florida where I live. If price is the only matter, I'm good with it. I've had a Harley now for a few years, and won't go back to what I was riding before. Others just aren't made the same.

The only bad thing about a V-Rod are the looks of envy you will get while riding down the road.

All kidding aside, they are considered a pretty nice bike. There are less after market parts available for them but that becoming less and less of an issue as more are being sold.

There is good forum I frequent for Harley/V-Twin specific topics. There are many knowledgable people there ready to help out. I have received a lot of good advice there. Here is a link.

What is you opinion on a HD Dyna

Years ago and I mean years I owned toe bikes one a 500cc Triumph and then a 1960 BSA SuperRocket that I reconditioned completely.

I now at 59 want a bike again and a HD Dyna Low Rider was suggested as I am 5'6".

I always wanted a harley 883 now I understand this is a small bike!

Most likely I will look at a 2nd hand low miles.

Any suggestions out there?

Thanks - Alan
