Lawn Mower Build Gas Pedal Install

I'd be very interested to hear how some of you have mounted gas pedals to your lawnmowers. I've come across the best of all riding mowers, a free one, and I'm having some fun building it up and learning along the way. I'd like to get away from the throttle lever and mount an accelerator pedal. I'd like to know the brands you're using, where you bought them from, and how you mounted them. Pictures would be great! Thanks for your feedback.

Well, I guess after this long, gas pedals on riding mowers aren't very popular. IMHO I can't really see a good reason for one.

Thumbs up

Hi, There are alot {More than I can count} racing lawn mower forums with people who build and race them. Search Google for Racing Lawn Mower Forums and you will probably be able to make contact with someone who knows alot of answers to your racing questions.
Best regards, Jeff

Use a system like a go-cart would have.. A pedal connected to the throttle by a bicycle brake cable, with a heavy return spring..
