ATV Electrical problem

I have a 90cc ATV I purchased from an internet company and am now having electrical problems. Its one of those atv's that has a remote alarm/ kill switch on them. I just replaced the battery ,. I checked all the wires going everywhere, CDI box, ignition, brake handle(You have to depress the brake in order for it to start) etc. Even with the ignition key on and the brake depressed I still do not get any electrical start at all. The motor does not turn over , nothing happens. The lights will not even turn on. What could this be? Please help.

The answer may be in your second sentence. Kill Switch. Sounds like it set and won't release.

Thanks I just fixed it. There was a loose wire going to the battery. It showed enough juice to show contact but would not start the motor. Thanks for the response

Go kart pulley drive help

Hey guys, I am currently undergoing a home go kart project and am almost complete but unfortunately i have hit a brick wall in relation to the particular drive i have chosen. Im running a 5hp 192cc engine with a pully centrifugal clutch as the driver pulley that i i have made so it can slide on the engine shaft and a three sized stepped pulleys as the driven. My problem is that i want to make the belt change to the three different sized pulleys. I have successfully been able to change from first (the largest pulley) to third (the smallest pulley) by using a third pulley with a housing to pull the belt to each pulley, the only problem that i cant get my head around is that i cant change from third to first (it seems as though the belt wants to change but there is not enough grip to make the full change from third to second and second to first) Ive tried with more slack and more tension but it doesnt seem to work, ive even tried a couple of different belts The three stepped pulleys are attached to the axel of the kart, and are fuzed together, (much like the pulleys you find in a drill press). The belt shifter i made can move either up or down to change pulleys, though i have the problem changing from the third pulley back to the first. I can send you guys some pictures if yous want to make it easier to understand! Two motors on one go kart

i have a home built go cart that a buddie and i made. It runs fine and is a blast to drive but i want more power. Right now i have one 5.5 hp tecumseh motor on the back left hand side powering just that tire and i want to put another one on the other tire but i dont know how i can get it to spin clockwise since i would have to flip it, any ideas on how i can put two motors on my go kart without getting a live axle? Also if i MUST have a live axle, where can i get a kit for cheap for one?Read More
