To seal or not to seal!? Help me riders!!

For the past few weeks I've been polishing all of the aluminum on my Honda Nighthawk (and there's a bunch!). It has the original sealer on the facings. Naturally, polishing it properly with buffing wheels makes it look like a mirror! And, of course, it's a lot of work.
Now, should I reseal the finished surface or leave it alone so I can polish as needed??

Thanks for your help,
CD

Hi there Clockdaddy,
I have the same same problem with my older model Viragos a 1991 535 & 1995 750 both have been polished to a mirror finish clean with prep sol after polishing
5 coats of acrylic clear coat wait a week then cut and polish
the cear coat will look great for many years just coat with a good quality wax every 2 months ( Rub on, Rub Off Type )
I use Maguires 3 step polishes on all my bkes ( 9 of then )
keeps them sparkling. Also use product called Soft Wash to wash bike so you don't clean the wax coating off when you wash it.

Hope all this helped
