Exclamation Starter replacement

I need to know how to remove and replace the starter and starter drive on a 1999 polaris explorer 300 4x4. Does anyone out there have this experence? Thank you in advance.

Can't tell you how to remove it but

It should be pretty straightforward. Unhook the battery first then the couple bolts holding it on and the electric leads. What you want to do is take it into a local starter shop for a rebuild if you want to save yourself some serious coin. Prices for those small starters is a ripoff and they last forever if you just get them rebuilt as needed. Good as new for half the price. I haven't bought a starter or alternator in 15 years for any of my toys.Beer 4U2

Starter for Polaris 4X4

I have found a website that shows you an exploded view of all motorcycles, ATV and Recreation vehicles. the exploded views show exactly what order parts fall and has part number next to each part just in case you need to replace them.
