Fuel tank leak

My Honda 300 fuel tank has some rust inside the tank and has developed a couple of small holes where fuel is leaking. How can I repair this tank????

thanks

look at your local atv/cycle shop-or online.
there is a 'kit' that involves an acid wash / clean for the inside.
then an'epoxy' type sealer that is poured into the tank & the tank is rolled around to coat the inside

Newtofta’s repair will work, but only temporally. Once a fuel tank rusts, the rust is like a spreading cancer that can’t be stopped. Better to replace the tank now, before the rust presents with fuel pressure, volume, and flow issues.

I've brazed up holes or rips in bike tanks before but you need good metal for that to work. I wouldn't think trying to fix a rusted tank would be worth the effort.

Seal-All works wonders for a temporary fix, even stops flowing fuel on the side of the road. Comes in a yellow tube sold at most automotive stores, walmart and meijer. Like mentioned before though, if there is a lot of rust, just go new!
